Recently visited Hawkes Bay on a cruise & booked the Hawkes Bay Express. was a lovely experience on this beautiful train lovingly built by the owner operator. Very informative ride through the Bay.
The Hawkes Bay Express is a family business with the train made by Will, his Dad and curtains by his Mum. The train travels on the road to different points of interest in Napier and Will’s commentary is not to be missed with the humour added to the historical information. The train itself is just a wonderful example of woodwork, seats are comfortable and the whole experience is one not to be missed.
